profits. Companies have to drastically and rapidly review their strategies, in
order to meet the varying economic, social and legislative context. Also the
operational, managerial and organizational structure must be optimized in terms
of efficiency, flexibility, quality, to maintain the competitiveness.

involves a complex activity of re-engineering of the Company system, that cannot
be completed without a suitable methodology and innovative tools for the
analysis of the existing operational realities. Tools and methodologies must

tracking alternative hypothesis, taking into account all the factors, that
influence the business processes.

environment conditions and “stress” the system in order to highlight
critical paths and all the bottlenecks of the processes. Furthermore it must

The Faber environment is appropriate for these duties. Coming with a suite of
designing, simulation and result analysis tools, it may concern for discrete
event-driven systems such as the business processes. The aforementioned used
methodology is the CIMOSA standard methodology, which bases on process oriented
modeling approach, to describe all the company activities (manufacturing,
managerial, administrative, organizational).
